The Tale of Two Spoils

Yes, I am! I have to start off by saying how wonderful my husband is. Despite him feeling under the weather, true to his word, he gave me the day off! What does that mean you ask? It means that he stayed home and rested up with our baby boy while I got out of the house to do what I wanted! Woo hoo! Never have I felt so lucky to have this wonderful man in my life, especially knowing that some of you Mommas out there do not ever get a day off from someone needing you and depending on you.

So here I am, a day free to myself and how do I spend it? At the day spa, getting a pedicure? Getting a massage? Nope! I spend my time shopping for my baby boy! Although we did get a lot of clothes for our boy, we are lacking in sleepers in the 3-6 month range. But, before I splurge too much on clothes I head to Best Buy just for kicks.

What do I find? A sale! For some reason, TV sets were going out the door by the dozens it seemed like! Now, I've been on the hunt since after Thanksgiving for a new LCD TV for our game room/play room and the room has become our 'junk' room since I haven't found a good deal yet. Not that we're in any hurry since our boy is still not able to hold a Wii remote. But today I found one! Woo hoo! Not only am I spoiled by my husband, here I am spoiling my little boy! Yep - I did it! I bought my little boy a 40" LCD 1080p, 120hz, 50000:1 Contrast Ratio HDTV! He's going to have quite the game/play room but in all honestly, the game/play room is for me. Hee hee!!

So there it is folks. The tale of two spoils - me, by my husband and my boy, spoiled by me!

Oh yah - I did buy him about $80 worth of clothes too... LOL
