Thoughtful Thursday

I haven't blogged very much and really there is no excuse. So I thought I'd try and make it a regular habit of posting each day with a little something. So here's my post for today - a couple of things that have been rolling around in my head:

• Why isn't there a plunger holder? Seriously. You buy a toilet brush and it comes with one of those holder thingamajiggys and what about the plunger? Don't you stick that in the toilet too? Doesn't that get all muckety mucked up? Then what?

• What's up with the kajillion cupholders? Seriously - looking for a new car? A kajillion cupholders is the main boasted feature! SERIOUSLY? We're that dumb as a society that we'd pick a car with more cupholders over one that has better performance or reliability?! Even CHILD car seats come with a cupholder or two.

• When did TV become more important than spending time with your family? I've been stood up by friends because of SOMETHING that was on TV before and not to mention the couch-potato syndrome as displayed by Pappa Bear every now and then. C'mon, really? Don't we have better things to do, people to see?

• Although it seems that with technology that we should be able to keep in touch more, why is it that we talk to each other less?
